At this weeks Government conference a huge emphasis was put on members of the public coming along to have their voices heard.
Their feedback was invited on a range of topics, with Ministers also available for question and answer sessions.
Captain Chris Woods from Ramsey came along to make his concerns about the state of his town known.
He praised the local community, but condemned its appearance, infrastructure and lack of things to do.
During the open floor question and answer sessions Captain Chris suggested bringing more jobs and businesses to the town needs to be prioritised, over more housing developments.
