Bridge plans approved but 'pepper pots' uncertain

Plans for the new Laxey Bridge have been approved.

It's believed the so called 'pepper pots' design has been signed off - despite contention from some members of the community.

The building work is understood to have been put out for tender with hopes it could be ready for TT week.
