Brexit concerns to be raised in Tynwald

Concerns surrounding Brexit will be a key topic of discussion at the extraordinary sitting of Tynwald next week.

Almost all the questions for oral response centre around the potential impact of Britains departure from the EU on October 31 and in relation to the Westminster 'Yellowhammer' documents.

Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper has nine different queries alone -  including asking about what the consequences could be for food prices, fuel supplies and fishing in Manx waters.

The court will convene in Douglas on Tuesday, October 8 from 10.30am.
