Emergency services were called out following a crash at Brandywell last night.
Firefighters were called to the single-vehicle incident just after 10.30pm on Thursday following reports a person was trapped inside a car which had come off the road.
On arrival, teams found the occupant had freed themselves from the car - they were attended to before being taken into the care of paramedics for further checks.
The occupants injuries are not thought to be serious.
