Braddan's Roundhouse will closed tomorrow after the Met Office issued a red weather warning.
In an update on social media, Braddan Commissioners say bin collections will go ahead subject to conditions, but recycling collections will now take place on Monday.
Although the Roundhouse will remain closed, the local authority says its staff will be contactable by phone.
On Facebook, the board says all its playgrounds will also be shut during Storm Eowyn.
