Braddan commissioners say their offices in Union Mills could be sold off after they move to the Roundhouse development in Strang.
At a recent meeting, the board was told someone had asked if they could buy the building in Close Corran rather than lease it.
The commissioners said the building could be sold at a suitable price.
Work on the new Roundhouse is scheduled to be completed by November 17.
