The bowling clubhouse at Onchan Park could be replaced by a larger log cabin.
Onchan Commissioners have applied to demolish the structure and build a cabin to be used by the Flat Bowling Green club.
It comes as the existing clubhouse is 'approaching a condition where it's no longer viable to continue to maintain and repair it.'
Commissioners add that it's hoped the new facility will provide health and leisure benefits to those who wish to use it, either as a club member or a paying member of the public.
