Douglas Council says it's closing the Bottleneck car park on Douglas promenade in the face of bad weather.
On Facebook, the local authority says the facility will be closed from this evening until Saturday morning.
It says the wind direction is due to change, which means more risk of storm waves lashing into it - potentially damaging vehicles and injuring drivers.
It's asking people not to use the car park until the weather improves on Saturday morning.
