It was a busy day for RNLI crews in Port St Mary yesterday - when both its lifeboats were launched to help a yacht.
The all-weather vessel Henry Heys Duckworth and D-class lifeboat Frank Martin launched shortly after 8pm after a mooring broke.
The yacht was left drifting in Bay ny Carrickey, and was threatening to run aground on rocks.
Both crews safely recovered the boat and towed it back to Port St Mary Harbour.
