Boat owners are being urged to remain vigilant after a number of thefts from boat parks in the south of the Island.
Most recently a silver metal winch was taken from a trailer in Derbyhaven.
It happened at some point between August 20th and 26th - police say it is worthless as scrap and is only fit for the purpose intended.
Boat owners are now being advised to mark their property with distinctive markings, keep things out of sight and lock up larger items to deter potential thieves.
Anyone who can help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station.
