The Met Office says the Island should expect blizzard conditions on Sunday with heavy snow on hills.
In its five-day forecast, the Ronaldsway facility says Saturday evening will see significant snowfall on high ground with sleet at lower levels.
On Sunday, however, strong winds will bring blizzards and deep snowdrifts on hills - but forecasters say most towns and villages should avoid the worst.
Freezing temperatures look set to continue into next week.
