The police say they’ve had reports of black ice around the Island this morning.
The closure of the Mountain Road again today, Saturday, January 10, comes after it was shut earlier in the week by snow - the situation's due to be reviewed later this morning.
Officers say to take care and drive to the conditions.
They add the Department of Infrastructure has its gritters out.
There are also public reports of minor roads being badly affected by hazardous ice.
