Castletown saw fewer births and more deaths last year, according to commissioners.
Over 2018, the ancient capital's registry office registered 68 births compared to 70 the previous year.
But there was a large increase in the number of recorded deaths over the year.
According to the figures, there were 106 deaths in 2018 - well up on the 94 seen in 2017.
During 2018 Castletown Registry Office registered 68 Births (70 in 2017) and 106 Deaths (94 in 2017).
