Island business tycoon Albert Gubay has this week received a significant accolade in recognition of his charity work.
The Billionaire was given a Papal Knighthood in light of his decision to give half of his vast fortune to the church.
Mr Gubay made a  bulk of his money through founding the Kwik Save chain.
The honour is bestowed on people who have given conspicuous service to the Church and Society.
