Biker sustains serious injuries following collision

A man suffered serious injuries following an incident on the Mountain Road yesterday evening.

At 7.20pm a blue Triumph motorbike was involved in a single vehicle collision between Joeys and Guthries on the popular stretch of the TT course.

Police are appealing to any motorists who may have witnessed the incident to contact them, particularly if anyone happened to capture it on camera.

The injured rider has been flown to the UK for treatment, the constabulary has conveyed their thoughts to both he and his family at this time.
