Biker hospitalised after crash

Police are appealing for information after a biker was hospitalised following a crash in Douglas yesterday.

The incident happened at 4.45pm on at the junction of Prospect Hill and Athol Street in Douglas, and involved a silver car and a red motorcycle.
 
Police closed part of Prospect Hill for a couple of hours while investigations took place - officers say the biker suffered leg injuries and was taken to Noble's Hospital while the car driver was uninjured.
