A Peel biker has been fined £350 after being caught speeding on the Mountain Road.
25-year-old James Stewart Mcelroy, of West View, was clocked travelling at 63mph in a 40 zone near Hillberry.
When police pulled him over on April 29 th Mcelroy told them: "I was trying to slow down but I left it too late."
Mcelroy admitted the offence via Coroner's Admission - magistrates ordered him to pay £50 prosecution costs and endorsed his licence with five penalty points.
