Efforts will be made today to clean up the Island’s capital.
Douglas Council is holding its Big Tidy Up campaign which aims to target litter hot spots around the town.
It’s the fourth year the initiative has been held – last year 1.9 tonnes of rubbish was collected.
Douglas Council says it’s an opportunity to target areas which cannot be easily accessed by its cleaners, including back lanes, alleyways and footpaths.
