Bidding to open for TT beer tent site

The former Bushy's Beer Tent site in Douglas may not be a drinking venue in future.

Douglas Council signed up with Hooded Ram for five years in 2017, but the company only used the Bottleneck Car Park once.

Last March, the local authority withdrew from the agreement - and now it says it's looking for new bids for the site.

The contract would be for one year initially, with an option to extend it for four years afterwards, and the council says it's keen to receive proposals of any nature to benefit to the local economy.
