Do pay rises mean people are worse off because of the benefits system?
That's the claim from North Douglas MHK David Ashford, as he quizzed Treasury Minister Alex Allinson about inflation in the House of Keys this week.
Dr Allinson said benefits thresholds had risen in line with inflation, allowing people to earn more and still keep benefits.
But Mr Ashford said constituents disagreed:
