A benefits fraudster who was wrongly paid almost £24,000 will be sentenced in February.
Elizabeth Ann Edge of Heather Crescent in Pulrose was excused appearing before Deputy High Bailiff James Brooks at Douglas Courthouse.
At an earlier hearing, the 32-year-old had pleaded guilty to two counts of failing to inform officials about a change in circumstances and four of making false representations to obtain benefits between August 2018 and August 2020.
A man she’d met online had been sending her around £1,000 a month which she hadn’t declared.
Mr Brooks extended her bail and she’s next due to appear on February 1.
