Numerous sailings on the vessel had to be called off during the bank holiday weekend after the boat suffered damage to one of its propellers when entering Heysham Harbour last week.
Following inspections from divers and manufacturers, it was determined the repairs would have to be carried out whilst the Ben wasn't afloat.
The Steam Packet Company says the craft arrived at Falmouth Dry Dock on Tuesday and will be back in action on Friday, September 11, depending on further assessments from specialists.
Meanwhile, the Manannan is currently running the daily sailings between Douglas and Heysham with the MV Arrow operating a daily freight service.
