The Ben-my-Chree will set sail for Cammel Laird in Birkenhead today for its annual overhaul.
The vessel is due to return to service on May 2 - with the Manannan set to operate passenger services to and from Heysham during that time with the MV Arrow to operate freight journeys.
Whilst the Ben is on the Wirral the Mannanan will depart the Island for Heysham at 8am and for Liverpool at 3.30pm each day, with return sailings from those at Noon and 7.15pm respectively.
A replacement coach service will be available at Heysham to transfer passengers to and from Lancaster train station - sailing schedules are available on the Steam Packet Company website.
