The Ben-My-Chree's 8:30am sailing to Heysham was delayed by four hours due to damaged firefighting equipment on the car deck, the Steam Packet has announced.
It departed at 12.30pm instead, August 20, meaning the ferry's 2.15pm return from Heysham was also disrupted.
She was brought in as a back-up vessel following an emergency incident yesterday, where smoke was found on the Manxman.
Meanwhile the Manannan’s 10.45am sailing to Dublin is now expected to depart at 1.30pm.
