The Chief Minister says the Island cannot afford to be complacent – despite the Manx economy being one of the fastest growing in Europe.
Government has released new figures, from the three months to June, which show the economy is expected to grow by three to four per cent.
It's being attributed to the working relationship between the public and private sector, a competitive business environment and diversification.
However, while the growth has been welcomed, Allan Bell says it will not get government ‘off the hook’ of its budgetary challenges:
