A new education campaign from an Island-based charity will see it swap beaches for blackboards as it reaches out to young people.
Beach Buddies, set up by Bill Dale, is partnering with the Department of Education and Children to visit every school on the Island in 2017.
Each school will be able to get its students out and about cleaning shorelines and learn more about litter's effect on the environment.
Bill says teaching young people about litter is just as important as action:
Government advice following spike in data breaches
Plans for four-foot flood walls at Ramsey harbour
Garage blaze in the early hours of this morning
Art anarchists "hiding gold bars" in Douglas this week
No cases of terror financing through charities
You can now adopt an ambulance
