Beach Buddies has made a formal protest to the Japanese Embassy in London and the Japanese government in Tokyo.
It concerns the nations decision to resume whale hunting next year.
In a letter, Beach Buddies founder, Bill Dale, says he believes the call has 'not been welcomed in the Isle of Man'.
He added the Island has great respect for the country and hopes it will 'very carefully' consider its options on the matter.
