A local charity is heading south this weekend to continue its mission of cleaning up the Island's beaches.
'Beach Buddies' will be in Port St Mary - meeting at the road above Chapel Bay at 10.30am tomorrow morning.
The 'Beach Buddies' big red truck will be there to hand out equipment and remove the rubbish collected afterwards, recycling as much of the materials as possible, including plastics, glass, metals and cans.
Founder Bill Dale has praised volunteers - particularly for what he calls 'behind the scenes' work.
