A local charity's first community clean up event in Laxey was an 'outstanding success.'
Beach Buddies teamed up with Laxey and Garff Commissioners to improve the tidiness of neighbourhoods in the area, and collected a 'significant amount' of rubbish.
Organisers say this was the first of a series of new events which will now be held at least once a month in the future.
They're hoping to replicate the idea all around the Island.
