Beach Buddies has taken to social media after one of its bins was thrown over the side of Marine Drive.
The charity says it's caused a lot of hassle and danger as it was close to the edge of a very steep, high cliff when a volunteer retrieved it.
It adds that it faces problems like this more often than you'd think, and it places their people at unnecessary risk.
It's understood a witness saw the bin being thrown over the wall, and so they may soon receive a visit from the police.
