Police are asking motorists to be considerate with their parking around the Island.
The message from officers comes after several fixed penalty notices were issued for vehicles left in a lane near to Clifton Terrace and Princes Avenue in Douglas on Thursday.
The constabulary says parking in lanes causes obstructions and delays people getting to work.
Authorities are warning anyone who leaves their vehicle in side lanes, on double yellow lines or blocking access to garages and roads may end up with a yellow penalty notice on their windscreen.
