The next public bat walk is set to take place in Ballasalla next weekend.
The Manx Bat Group are meeting at Rushen Abbey car park at 9pm on Saturday August 6, with all ages welcome to join free of charge.
Following an introductory talk on Manx bats and their habitats, participants can listen out for bat calls on detectors, with members on hand to explain which species they belong to.
The rote will follow the Silverburn river to Silverdale and back.
