10 Spotted Over Weekend
As is often the case around this time of year Basking Sharks have returned to Manx waters.
Last year saw a record number of sightings and if this weekend was anything to go by it’s looking like we could be in for a repeat.
There were ten sightings reported over the weekend, it's thought the recent upturn in the weather is the reason.
Already there have also been numerous sightings of Harbour Porpoises, it's thought the Dolphins will be popping up soon also.
Marine Officer at the Manx Wildlife Trust Eleanor Stone urges anybody who spots anything to report it to the www.manxbaskingsharkwatch.com.
