The Island's Fire and Rescue Service is asking people to be responsible with disposable barbecues.
On Facebook, it says it dealt with a wildfire in Port St Mary at the weekend started by a barbecue.
It's asking people to use them on non-combustible surfaces, supervise it properly and put it out with plenty of water after it's used
It also adds the items need proper disposal as they can take several hours to cool down.
