A banned driver from Douglas was spotted driving a van along the promenade, a court's heard.
45 year old Lee Joseph Bargh of Falcon Cliff Terrace was stopped on Loch Promenade on May 13.
He'd been disqualified for three years in August 2022.
Magistrates sentenced him to 12 months in jail, suspended for two years, after he admitted the offence.
He was also given a fresh two year driving ban.
