The inquest into the death of a Douglas woman who died following an overdose of paracetamol has been opened.
53-year-old Teresa McMullin died at the Isle of Man Hospice on August 31st.
At Douglas Courthouse this week the Coroner of Inquests confirmed the bank clerk had overdosed on the medication between 16 and 18 days prior to her death.
She was taken to Noble's Hospital on August 15th but medical intervention was deemed inappropriate and instead she was transferred to the hospice for end of life care.
Coroner John Needham released her body so that funeral arrangements can take place - the inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
