It’s the first day of term today.
Yes after the extended break all of the islands schools and the Isle of Man College will re-open as normal.
The government controversially decided to extend the Christmas break on Monday to allow teachers to bank up time to cover other lessons..
The weather chose to extend the holidays over the past two days.
All back to normal today with a few exceptions on the buses.
If you catch the number 7, 29 and 64 they are cancelled.
Students who live on housing estates which are still covered with snow are being asked to walk to the nearest main road bus stop.

If you’re driving your children to school all main roads have been gritted.
The gritters have covered pavements too in order to make them safe to walk on.
Some of the minor roads and school car parks are still slippy, we’ll keep you updated on the roads causing problems throughout the morning.
The mountain road is still closed, it’s expected to stay that way until at least Friday.
