An event to raise awareness of dementia will be held on the Island at the end of this month.
It's being organised by the Departments of Health and Social Care at the Villa Marina on Thursday, January 31st. .
The event is targeted at people who have or care for people with the condition. It's also open to anyone who has questions about the illness.
One of the guest speakers on the day will be Dr Ann Johnson, who herself was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 52.
