The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is asking people not to use Douglas Station to turn their cars around.
In a post on social media, the service says there have been a number of occasions where members of the public have used the forecourt as a handy spot to do a U-turn, or as a short term car park.
The service says this can slow them down when responding to incidents, and present a danger to their staff.
As the forecourt is part of the station, it's also often used to carry out maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
