The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture is advising people to stay away from its forests and glens through the bad weather.
From 4pm today to midday on Monday its asked you avoid the areas, to give staff a chance to assess damage caused to trees and the risk to public safety.
From Monday afternoon the public are urged to report any tree issues they find at the departments forests and glens by calling 695705.
