The Isle of Man Post Office has invested in a parcel automation machine to help it become 'the leading parcel delivery service'.
The machine will process inward and outward packages and parcels, and will automatically sort items into postal routes for delivery around the Island.
It will be the first parcel automation machine on the Island, and will be able to sort items more efficiently.
It's is expected to be installed at the post Office's Headquarters in Douglas in autumn this year.
Simon Kneen, Chief Executive of IOMPO said, “This is a significant investment agreed by the Board, which is a key part of our strategy to become the leading parcel delivery business on the Island".
