Police are asking people to be vigilant following reports of another possible phone scam.
According to officers, a resident has reported receiving several calls from someone claiming to be from 'tax' who've then asked the target for personal details.
The constabulary says the number used to ring the resident was not the Income Tax Division on the Isle of Man, adding officals from that department would never contact anyone in that way.
Police say if you receive this call to take the caller's name and pass it on to the Income Tax Division on 685 400 so it can verify the details.
