Sidecar driver Dwight Beare has died following a crash in the first sidecar race of TT 2016.
The 27-year-old - who was originally from Melbourne - crashed at Rhencullen on the first lap at around 2.15pm.
The race was red flagged – passenger Benjamin Binns was airlifted from the scene; he is described as stable with a fractured ankle.
Beare made his TT debut in 2014 achieving a 12th place finish.
