It seems a lot of us got to see the aurora borealis last night!
Low light pollution levels allowed a spectacular scene of Northern Lights across the Island.
The display was most seen at around midnight when solar activity was at its strongest.
The phenomena is chiefly influenced by geomagnetic storms, of which the Met Office said there was a "severe" one due to reach Earth overnight.
Thanks to those who sent 3FM photos!
