More information could be released this week concerning the fate of the Island’s Attorney General.
Last week, Stephen Harding was re-bailed after the jury in his trial was dismissed.
The 52-year-old denies committing acts against public justice and perjury.
The seven-strong jury who had spent three days deliberating were unable to reach a unanimous verdict on Friday.
Deemster Birkett said a decision on the next course of action would be taken within a few days including the possibility of a retrial.
