The charges against the Island’s Attorney General have been dropped.
52-year-old Stephen Harding was acquitted earlier today.
Mr Harding had denied the charges of perjury and committing acts against public justice throughout the lengthy duration of the investigation.
It comes after a second trial reached the same outcome as the previous one, with the jury unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
