A former NASA astronaut has designed one of the dolphin sculptures for Hospice Isle of Man's Wild in Art Trail.
Nicole Stott, who is also an author and artist, used her experiences in space as inspiration for her design, which will be painted by local artist Kate Summerville.
The 'Space Dolphin' will join over 30 other sculptures as part of The Big Splash, an Island-wide public art discovery trail.
Nicole, who was the first astronaut to paint with watercolours on a spaceflight, says she wanted to illustrate the vital connection between personal and planetary wellbeing.
