The President of the London Manx Association has hit out at the government's consultation into area development plans.
Alistair Kneale made the comments on the Transceltic website after the draft north and west plans were released last month.
He says the plans would bring environmental and social destruction on a huge scale, and need to be stopped in their tracks.
The proposals, which set aside plots of land for specific purposes such as housing, industry or leisure, are currently out to consultation and on display at Ramsey Town Hall.
