A public lecture about the current art exhibition at the Manx Museum will take place this week.
Martin Hearne will speak about his paintings in 'Day For Night: A Season in Douglas,' which explores the visual transformation of Douglas into a postcard perfect holiday destination during the 50s, 60s and 70s.
The lecture will reveal how the Isle of Man inspired his artistic career, and takes place at 6:30pm on Friday March 4 in the Manx Museum Lecture Theatre.
Tickets cost £10 and can be bought from the Manx National Heritage website.
