Police made three arrests after the first day of its anti drink-drive campaign.
The constabulary says three people were apprehended after day one for drink or drug driving offences by members of the Roads Policing Unit and neighbourhood policing teams.
The annual operation from authorities sees officers targeting anyone who chooses to get behind the wheel during the festive season under the influence of drink or drugs.
In an update on social media, authorities say 'the message is a simple one; don't drink or drug drive'.
